What's live vs. planned
Who Eurcor is for
Eurcor serves the institutions that must know — or have a legitimate interest in knowing — who ultimately owns and controls a company: Obliged entity povinná osoba The company or person legally required to identify and keep records of its beneficial owners under AML law. running customer due diligence, supervisory authorities and financial-intelligence units, contracting authorities screening bidders, and bodies overseeing recipients of EU funds.
Why auditable, source-backed records matter
Every published record traces back to the documents that support it. Rather than a bare assertion of ownership, an Eurcor record carries the proof set behind each relationship and a content hash for each document, so a reviewer can see what was relied on and confirm it has not changed (AMLR Art. 62–67). That makes a record a verifiable input to your own obligations — never a replacement for them.
How credibility is scored
Each subject and relationship carries three independent credibility
signals: scope (how much of the structure is
verified), documentary (what evidence supports
it), and temporal (how current it is). You can
weight records by these signals instead of treating every entry as equally
certain.
Access tiers, and what each role sees
Access follows the EU tiered model. Competent authorities, FIUs, and law enforcement have full access without notice to the company; regulated entities, journalists, NGOs, and researchers may obtain legitimate-interest access; everyone else sees the limited public set. Since the CJEU's C-601/20 (Sovim) ruling, unconditional public access is not permitted — see Access & privacy.
Using Eurcor in your compliance workflow
Use verified records to support customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring, procurement screening, and funds-eligibility checks. Programmatic access through the API is planned; today you can search the registry and request access for your organisation.
Security, integrity, and legal basis
Records are tamper-evident today through per-document SHA-256 hashing and recorded provenance; signed submissions are on the roadmap. Eurcor's data model and access rules implement the EU AML framework (Regulation 2024/1624; Directive 2024/1640), the Open Data Directive, and the high-value-datasets Regulation. See Legal framework for the instrument-by-instrument mapping.
